In Nehemiah 1–2, we see what happens when God places a burden on a believer’s heart. Nehemiah hears that Jerusalem’s walls are broken—and instead of ignoring it, he weeps, fasts, prays, and then steps into faithful action. This message is a call to the Church: care for one another, confess burdens, return to God’s Word, and rebuild what’s been broken—together. And through it all, we’re reminded that every page of Scripture points to Jesus, the One who took the cup and still said, “Nevertheless, Your will be done.” If your home feels like it’s in rubble… if your faith feels tired… God can rebuild. Paul said he didn’t come with excellence of speech, but with Jesus Christ and Him crucified—so our faith would rest in the power of God, not the wisdom of man (1 Corinthians 2:1–5).
