VOLUNTEER DINNER

Emmanuel Church will be hosting a Volunteer dinner. We want to show our appreciation for all our current volunteers who show up week in, and week out and we would love to have anyone who has ever had a desire to serve to show up, and enjoy a meal, and ask any question that you may have!!

Location: Old Pursuit Building

Emmanuel will be serving the homeless men and women in our community. We will gather with them over dinner and share scripture and testimony. We will help facilitate basic needs including providing a shower and basic supplies while giving a safe place to rest. The event will begin on Friday evening and will end on Saturday morning. It will require about 12 volunteers sharing in a host of roles to make each event a success.
Volunteer roles needed:
meal prep and serve (2 or more)
shower facilitators (2)
caretakers (3)
security (2)
morning crew - breakfast and cleanup (3)

Emmanuel Church will be helping serve at Love Denver this year as Guides and would love to have you serve along side with us!
The Impact of a Guide
As a guide, you are the face of Love Denver. You will personally welcome an assigned family, walk with them through the stations, and help them receive backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and food. Your primary mission is to build connections, show compassion, and pray with the family before they leave.
Matthew 9:37-38
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
